We stayed in 11 different b&b/hotels during our 4 week stay in Alaska/Yukon and this was easily our favourite. Our ground floor room in the main house had direct access to the verandah with lovely views across the bay and the owner Laurie was an excellent host.
What made this place stand out from all the others though were the little extra touches that made it seem special like the homemade cookies provided in the afternoon; the good quality bread, jam and homemade granola at breakfast as well as the varied interesting cooked main item and the local toiletries.
It was also well located and within walking distance of the town.
