We came to Alaska for adventure in the mid-1980s. Between the two of us, we have hunted, fished, commercial fished, and backpacked many remote areas around Alaska. Bay Avenue has been our home since 2005. We look forward to hosting your stay!

We Are Happy to Share Our Home With You

Located on the bluff, we overlook the famous Homer Spit and are only minutes from the picturesque town center. Along with breathtaking views of the mountains, glaciers, and pristine waters of Kachemak Bay, we offer guests an ideally located, serene home-away-from-home. 

Bay Avenue Inn offers single room accommodation in the Main House. If you are looking for more privacy the Bay Avenue Suite is a self-catering, separate house that shares parking with the main house.

Our home is one of the top-rated accommodations in Homer! Moose, eagles, sandhill cranes, and other wildlife are among our regular visitors and can often be enjoyed from our spacious deck.

The scenic Homer Spit trail, The Farmers Market, Salmon Sisters flagship shop, Beluga Lake Grill, Homer Brewing Company, are all within easy walking distance from our door.
